Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Bob is currently entering his 45th year of hockey instruction and his 36th year as founder and president of the Sport International Hockey Academy. A former European professional hockey player, and also officiated 10 years as a minor Pro Linesman. Baldwin recently retired from refereeing, ending a 20 year college hockey career. His main goal in life is to pass on his hockey knowledge, to benefit young hockey players, both mentally and physically.
Samuel was born in Rochester, New York. Sam previously played for The Rochester Jr. Americans and played and studied at The Aquinas Institute in Rochester, NY. Sam is also a former SIHA Student in our Rochester location. Sam is currently attending Quinnipiac University, where he is pursuing a Marketing Degree. We are excited to have Sam and his passion for the Goalie position, as our Tour 1 Goalie Instructor, for our 2024 Instructional Tour.
Benjamin is a native of Holly Springs, North Carolina. Benjamin is currently studying at Wake Tech. Community College, where he is studying Sports Broadcasting and plans to transfer to The University of North Carolina. Benjamin is a former player The Twin City Thunder of the USPHL Premier Division. Benjamin will be returning as our Tour 2 Camp Director and he is a former SIHA student in our Cicero location. We look forward to having Benjamin's energetic approach for our 36th Instructional Tour.
Matthew currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA. Matthew is a rising Senior at The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), he is working towards a Marketing degree with an emphasis in Professional Sales. Matthew is also the Captain of his ACHA Division 3 hockey team as well as the D3 president, and club vice president. Matthew will be in his 1st summer with SIHA and he will be our Tour 2 Power Skating Instructor. We look forward to having Matthew's leadership qualities, a part of our summer staff.
Spencer is a native of Chicago, IL and is entering his 1st summer with SIHA. Spencer recently graduated from Aurora University with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. Spencer is currently a Junior Scout for The Green Bay Gamblers (USHL) and has also scouted for The Chicago Steel (USHL). In addition, Spencer was a Video Coach with The Utah Outliers (NCDC) and has been an Assistant Coach with Team Illinois (U16 Boys) in the 2022-'23 season. Spencer is really excited about bringing his past and present coaching & scouting experience, to now passing on his knowledge to our young aspiring hockey players.
Coach Fabec was born in Palmetto, Florida and is entering his 5th Summer. Joe graduated from Florida State University (FSU) with a degree in Sport Management and a Minor in Professional Communications. He is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach residing in Clearwater, FL. Fabec is a Head Coach for the Tampa Bay Jr Lightning & works full-time at Power Pole Arena in Tampa. In recent years, he has been a Head Coach for youth ice hockey teams in other locations including New Hampshire, Hungary, & Serbia!
Ean is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada he is recently a graduate of Faith Lutheran High School and is currently working at his family owned business. Ean also played for the Vegas Outlaws, Vegas Storm and the Junior Golden Knights. Ean is a past SIHA student and he will be entering his 1st summer as a Counselor. We look forward to having Ean's enthusiastic demeanor as a part of our 2023 staff.
Kyle was born in Orchard Park, New York. Kyle played 2 years of hockey at Erie Community College and he currently attends Buffalo State University where he is studying Social Studies Education. Kyle aspires to be a History Teacher upon his college completion. Kyle is also a 3 time, former SIHA Student in our Buffalo location. We look forward to having Kyle's dedicated approach, Kyle will be our Tour 1 Camp Director for our 2025 Instructional Program.
