*THE PAD SAVE:* We will work very hard with each goaltender to emphasize the importance of the various techniques associated to The Pad Save. Some of the points that we will discuss, will be; The Butterfly Save, Staying Big In The Net and Keeping The Stick Flat On The Ice.	* Please click on the Pad Save Flat Screen TV, to view a small sample of our Individualized Video Analysis.

Our expert goaltending instructors will finely tune the following points; Twisting the wrist when making the blocker save, following the puck into the catching glove & stearing all rebounds to the corner.
*THE BREAK-AWAY SAVE:* Our goaltending instructor will ensure that all of our goalies become proficient with their skills, in defending against the break-away. *1 ON 1 GOALIE INSTRUCTION:* We pride ourselves for offering quality 1 on 1 goaltending instruction to each and every goalie that goes through our program. Our goaltending staff are college goaltenders with excellent teaching skills. Our instructors are completely dedicated to improving the overall skills of each and every student goalie. NEW For 2012 "CUT-OUT" COMPARISON The Sport International Hockey Academy is very excited with our new innovation of "Cut-Out" Comparison. We have been able to create cut-outs of our Goalie Instructor, demonstrating various skill techniques. We will be able to tap in these cut-out stamps and place them side by side to our young goaltenders, to visually show the areas that need to be improved as well as the skills that are being properly performed. We feel that this new teaching technique will be extremely beneficial for our students. SIHA is continually trying to offer new and exciting techniques to constantly improve our video analysis process.
	STICK FIGURE COMPARISON The Sport International Hockey Academy has recently developed a new type of analysis to further enhance our video analysis process. We have created stick figures from our Goalie Instructors, to be compared to each student goaltender on two of the 4 days of video. Stick figures have been created to accentuate the proper body posture of both the Stance & The Glove Save, to be overlayed on top of our student (instructor on the left and student on the right side), so they can see exactly how close they are, regarding technique, to our goalie coach. We are very excited to launch this new video analysis segment to our 2011 presentation.
SPOTLIGHT ISOLATION SIHA will be introducing Spotlight Isolation to our 2011 students. We will be able to isolate certain areas of the goaltenders posture and movement, to better explain the proper skills associated to the technique. The spotlight will zone in on the primary area to be analyzed, blocking out the rest of the video. This will offer an enhanced view of our telestration technique. SIHA is continually trying to invent new and exciting ways to teach the goaltending position. Enjoy our 2011 Video Analysis process!

	Goalie Academy Philosophy Our program is based upon improving each goaltender’s balance, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination, agility, flexibility, basic technique and overall knowledge of the goaltending position. Goaltending is a highly specialized & very important position, involving many physical and mental aspects. At Sport International we recognize the importance of individualized goaltending training & we strive to improve goalies of all skill levels and ultimately assist each player in achieving their goals in a fun and challenging manner.
Special Goalie Academy Features Goaltending instruction for players age 6-17 3 hours daily on-ice instruction Morning sessions include 1 on 1 instruction with goaltending coach covering all aspects of the position (Butterfly, Leg Stacks, Glove Work, Read & React Drills, etc.) Afternoon sessions include game situation and breakaway drills 1:4 instructor/goalie ratio Computerized video motion analysis through the use of high tech video and computerized telestrator equipment, we will thoroughly analyze each goaltender on a daily basis. Each goalie will receive their video tape at the end of the instructional week. Off-ice conditioning includes: Footwork training, hand-eye coordination, reaction drills and exercises to enhance agility, flexibility and anticipation TruAngle Goaltending Training System, including angle analysis and lectures Remote controlled musical ice sprints Final day "Pylon Cup" game, to be viewed by family and friends

Off-Ice Shooting (All goalies will shoot approx. 150 pucks throughout the week - Wrist, Backhand, Snap & Slap Shots, to improve their arm strength and stick control for on-ice passing skills)
